Role description
The role of the Global Assurance Digital – Go to Market Leader is a strategic role to support the Global Assurance Service Line in designing, developing and implementing go to market strategies for Assurance technology, including the market leading global digital audit. The role is a key enabling role for EY's multi-billion $ USD investment program to integrate and transform EY’s Assurance technologies.
EY’s Assurance Service Line operates a digital network and central team to coordinate its ongoing technology transformation. The Digital Go to Market Leader role is a key position, helping to drive an aligned approach via this central team and network, to facilitate and accelerate the digital transformation of EY’s Audits, FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory), Forensics and CCaSS (Climate Change and Sustainability) services across EY’s geographic sub-service line teams (Areas and Regions).
The role enables EY Assurance client service teams, internally and externally, as well as Sector, Markets, BMC and Talent teams to drive change with a consistent message across a ~$15bn global Assurance business.
EY Global Assurance requires a role driving the market facing activation of EY’s AI-powered platform across EY’s Assurance network globally, supporting Premier and Strategic accounts as well as Core accounts. The Go To Market Leader will review, enhance and implement existing Digital go to market strategies, plans and enablement. The role requires the candidate to interface closely with senior stakeholders across EY’s Global Assurance team and related representatives from Regions, including EY’s Assurance Digital networks, such as Digital Account Leaders (via Vanguard and Premier / Strategic account community) and pursuit teams.
Market pressures are evolving as each Big 4 organization deploys audit technology including the latest generation AI capabilities. This role is a core component of EY’s proactive strategy to lead the market and to accelerate the speed at which EY’s Assurance technology is activated.
Key responsibilities
The professional in this role will hold primary responsibilities including to review, design and implement EY’s go to market strategies for Assurance technology. The person in this role will interface with and enhance existing operating model(s) needed to deliver and scale. To do this, the individual filling this role will have:
- Deep knowledge and understanding of EY’s Global Assurance technology including AI-powered platform
- Unrivaled skills in communication, coaching and developing differentiated value propositions – and applying these on accounts and strategic pursuits
- Skilled in working with senior stakeholders across Executive Layer and other functions across EY
Primary responsibilities in this role are to support EY’s Assurance Digital team incl. Product Management professionals, through change management, digitalization, and experience transformation. This includes coaching on strategic pursuits, the development of go to market enablement and competitor intelligence, as well as coordination with relevant networks and account / pursuit best practice sharing.
Additional responsibilities included with the scope of the role will include the enablement of account and client Digital Innovation sessions including on strategic pursuits, harnessing outcomes to drive an elevated client experience and to support continued growth in Assurance.

The Digital Go to Market leader will facilitate the market facing deployment of EY’s AI-powered platform across EY’s Top End Invest to Win program of audit pursuits, working alongside EY Assurance Client Service teams, as well as EY’s Clients & Industries network.
This includes gathering, leveraging and sharing of best practices from recent top-end pursuit wins; ensuring that these approaches are industrialized and embedded at scale across EY’s Assurance network. The person in this role will also look for synergies across Service Lines and lead towards defining an exceptional client experience.
Detailed responsibilities and correlation with knowledge, skills and experience are as follows:

Change: Enable a program of change management across Global Assurance
- Deep knowledge and understanding of EY’s Global Assurance digital, including technology, alignment with methodology and deployment roadmap
- Skilled in working across senior stakeholders including Executive Layer and deep understanding of EY Global Assurance objectives and change management strategy
- Significant experience of working with Pursuits and other Clients & Industries teams related to EY’s AI-powered platform and broader Assurance technology

Growth: Drive digitalization of EY’s Vanguard and Premier / Strategic accounts and top-end pursuits
- Leading knowledge of digital products and competitor landscape
- Extensive skills in implementing innovative, winning (Assurance) pursuit strategies across multiple geographies
- Experience of how to convince teams to deploy EY's Assurance technology, together with awareness of client industry business issues to enable account transformation including for EY’s top end accounts

Experience: Embed technology to transform the experience for EY people and clients
- Knowledge and experience of facilitating client facing innovation sessions and technology showcases
- Unrivaled skills in communication and developing differentiated value propositions
- Extensive experience with delivering transformation programs and market leading enablement
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Strong knowledge of EY’s global Assurance Digital assets or comparative technologies.
- Experience in a go-to-market / pursuits / activation / implementation role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills across matrixed client teams, senior EY stakeholders, alliances, suppliers, and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
- Strong (fluent) English language skills (spoken and written)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- 12+ years’ experience requirement, including experience in Assurance or Assurance-adjacent roles

The role may involve direct supervision of others. The role is expected to advise, coach and influence others across the EY global organization and when engaging with Regional teams. At times, the role is also expected to commission projects and activity from EY’s Core Business Services teams in support of EY Assurance initiatives. The role is expected to influence key stakeholders to achieve objectives. The role involves both close team collaboration but also considerable autonomy.

Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $228,600 to $452,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $274,300 to $514,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
