Digital Graphic Designer

Role Profile

Reports to: Head of Ecommerce
Location: Glasgow, office based
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Role Overview

As the Digital Graphic Designer, you will join a team where your role will be vital to the success of the global ecommerce channels. You will be responsible for the overall appearance and design of the ecommerce channels with a focus on improving the sales and growth of the business.

This is a new and exciting opportunity to work within an innovative ecommerce team or to further enhance your existing experience in a successful, well-known brand within the Head Office.

Experience required

  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a similar role.

What does a typical day sound like?

  • Design engaging and on-brand graphics for various digital platforms, including web, social media, and email.
  • Develop and edit high-quality product images / videos, including retouching and colour correction.
  • Create promotional banners and advertisements for online campaigns, ensuring they are visually appealing and effective.
  • Design and optimize the visual elements of the ecommerce DTOC site to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
  • Ensure all visual content aligns with the brand’s guidelines and maintains a cohesive look and feel across all digital touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce team to create visuals that support promotional activities and product launches.
  • Organise and maintain a library of graphic assets, ensuring easy access and efficient use of resources.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the visual appeal and effectiveness of content.
