Digital Growth Lead
North Stack AI | Leeds / Hybrid
I'm looking for someone hungry, not someone after a comfortable marketing job, spending their days scheduling LinkedIn posts and waiting to be told what to do, but a Digital Growth Lead who actually wants to help build something.
North Stack is an AI company helping businesses use AI in the way they work. We're already working with real businesses, building real AI products and solutions, in markets where the opportunity is significant. Now our team is looking for someone to help take North Stack to the next level, that's where you come in.
What you'll be doing
You'll work directly with the team and take ownership of our digital growth. Your job is simple: get more people to know North Stack, get more people interested in North Stack, and turn that attention into opportunities.
That could mean:
- Building our LinkedIn presence
- Creating content people actually want to read
- Developing founder-led content
- Building landing pages and campaigns
- Improving our website and SEO
- Getting North Stack appearing in AI search
- Running paid campaigns
- Building email campaigns
- Creating lead generation campaigns
- Turning customer success into case studies
- Experimenting with new acquisition channels
- Helping us build our brand
- Tracking what works and killing what doesn't
- Coming up with ideas nobody else has thought of
And here's the important bit: you won't just be executing someone else's marketing strategy, you'll help create it.
I want an entrepreneur

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You might have two years' experience or five, you might have built your own website, grown a TikTok account, started a side business, run paid ads for a startup, or built a newsletter with 10,000 subscribers, I'm less interested in your job title and much more interested in what you've actually done. I want someone who has ideas, actually executes them, moves quickly, isn't afraid to experiment, and learns from failure, someone who understands that attention is worthless unless it creates commercial value. If you see something that could be better, I expect you to say it. If you have an idea, I expect you to test it. If something isn't working, I expect you to change it. If you find a better way of doing something, I expect you to implement it.
AI is changing marketing
This isn't a normal digital marketing role. We're an AI company, and we're going to be experimenting with AI throughout our own growth strategy, so you'll get to experiment with AI search, AI-generated content, automation, agents, and new acquisition channels that most traditional marketing teams haven't even touched yet. I don't expect you to know everything, I expect you to be curious enough to figure it out.
What I'm looking for
Someone who is ambitious, entrepreneurial, commercially minded, creative, highly curious, comfortable with technology, a strong communicator, data-driven, fast-moving, and not afraid to get stuck in. You don't need to have worked for a huge company, honestly I'd probably prefer someone who hasn't. I'm interested in people who have built things, side projects, startups, freelancing, content accounts, businesses you've started, experiments that failed. I want to see evidence that you don't just talk about ideas, you make things happen.

How this role works
This is going to start as a fractional role, a few days a week while we get to know each other and prove out the fit, with the plan of growing it into a full time position as North Stack grows. Start date is flexible, we'll agree that directly once we've found the right person. You'll work directly with me, you'll have genuine ownership and the freedom to experiment, and you'll get exposure to AI, start-ups, technology, and some really interesting businesses. Handled well, this could become a senior growth, marketing, or commercial leadership position. We're building a company, not filling a seat.
Think this sounds like you?
Show me, and make the application itself the thing that stands out.
Send me:
- Something you've built, a business, campaign, website, audience, project, account, side hustle, anything.
- Something you've grown, tell me what it was, where it started, and what you achieved.
- Your North Stack idea, spend some time looking at North Stack and tell me one thing you'd do to generate significantly more attention and leads for us. It doesn't need to be perfect, I want to see how you think.
Send it to me directly at matthew@northstack.digital. Put something in the subject line that makes me want to open it before the others.
