Urgently seeking an experienced, hands-on Digital Growth & Performance Marketing Contractor to take ownership of day-to-day BAU digital activity during an important period for a FTSE 250 business.

You’ll manage performance across the key digital channels and agency partners, ensuring activity is commercially focused, well optimised and delivering against acquisition and conversion targets.

A major new website is also going live, so you’ll play an important role in its post-launch optimisation – using data, insight and CRO principles to improve customer journeys, conversion and overall website performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day digital performance across PPC, paid social, SEO, display and other acquisition channels.
  • Manage digital/performance agencies, challenging performance and driving ROI.
  • Monitor acquisition, conversion, lead quality and channel effectiveness, turning data into action.
  • Support the new website post-launch, identifying opportunities to improve UX, journeys and conversion.
  • Help develop and deliver a practical CRO and optimisation roadmap, including testing and continuous improvement.
  • Work across marketing, sales, technology and external partners to ensure digital activity supports commercial objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
