The role

SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for 2 Digital Information (BIM) Coordinators to play a key role in facilitation of modelling principles, including clash detection, coordination, federation and geolocation of large-scale multi-contract projects. This shall be across a large portfolio of works, via our ASTI Pathway to 2030 programme and our Joint Venture Program, Eastern Greenlink.

Successful applicants will be responsible for providing key input into the development of the processes and procedures, involved in the production of information, as well as validating information of the projects assigned to them.

You will

  • Coordinate and support the configuration of various modules within the SSEN Transmission's Common Data Environment (CDE), Autodesk Forma (previously known as Autodesk Construction Cloud) to ensure this fits the needs of the project and delivery teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of the processes required, to embed as part of the project specific information requirements documentation, in line with the BS EN ISO 19650 series and the UK BIM Framework.
  • Support in the upskilling of both internal teams and external delivery partners to ensure full understanding of the systems and processes, and compliance with the prescribed workflows.
  • Act as the main point of contact on assigned projects for all Information management related tasks and coordinate the sharing of commercially sensitive or confidential model information. In particular with our external supply chain partners.
  • Verify and validate that model information and asset data is accurate and complete. Also, liaise with internal teams on all related issues and tasks to ensure consistency of approach on all projects. This will be particularly important in model review and validation, ensuring models are visibly and spatially accurate. And working with the HVDC Engineering and Interface teams in solving any design issues that arise from a technical review standpoint.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
