About the Client:

Our client is a major international bank with an established presence in infrastructure and energy finance. They are looking for an Analyst 1 to join their Digital Infrastructure Project Finance team.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to origination, execution and portfolio management within a busy infrastructure team, working closely with senior colleagues across transaction execution and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support transaction teams in the origination, structuring and execution of transactions, including preparation of marketing and transaction materials
  • Support the preparation of credit applications and associated financial analysis
  • Assist with transaction grading using relevant internal grading tools (e.g. project finance or commercial & industrial models), as applicable
  • Undertake financial analysis and other transaction-related workstreams in support of transaction teams and senior colleagues
  • Review customer financial statements, project finance financial models and some legal documentation
  • Support due diligence and documentation processes, including reviewing and organising information received from customers, advisers and other stakeholders
  • Assist with KYC processes, preparation and circulation of signing logs, and maintenance of transaction records
  • Work on asset management, distribution activities and other areas of the business as requested by senior colleagues
  • Interface with various internal departments, including Credit, Syndications, Operations and Portfolio Management
  • Support senior colleagues in gathering client information and occasionally attend client meetings alongside them
  • Understand and correctly apply internal procedures, systems, policies and controls
  • Deliver allocated tasks accurately, on time and to a high standard, with strong attention to detail

Candidate Profile:

  • 2 months – 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong numerical and written skills essential
  • Microsoft Excel experience desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple concurrent transactions
  • Genuine interest in infrastructure, project finance or energy finance
  • Familiarity with AI tools viewed favorably
  • Language skills would be viewed favorably
