Digital Innovation and Insights Leader

About the Role
Brown & Brown Retail Europe is seeking an exceptional Digital Innovation & Insights Leader to help shape the future of our business. This is a high-profile leadership role working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to unlock growth, enhance client outcomes, and drive operational excellence through data, analytics, digital capabilities, and AI.
You will be responsible for identifying and delivering innovative solutions that create measurable commercial value, helping us attract and retain clients, support smarter decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen our competitive position in the market.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who can combine strategic vision with practical delivery, translating emerging technologies and market opportunities into real business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted adviser to the Retail Europe CEO and leadership team on digital innovation, data, analytics, and AI strategy.
- Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth, improve client retention, and strengthen client propositions through data-driven insights.
- Partner with sales, broking, and client-facing teams to improve performance, conversion rates, and overall client value.
- Use data and market intelligence to support better placement decisions, pricing transparency, and portfolio performance.
- Drive the adoption of digital and AI-enabled solutions that enhance the colleague and client experience.
- Lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency through automation, process optimisation, and smarter use of technology.
- Provide leadership teams with meaningful insight into business performance, helping shape future strategy and investment decisions.
- Work collaboratively with enterprise data, analytics, technology, and digital teams to deliver business priorities.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation, ensuring we maximise the value of existing platforms and capabilities.

About You
- A proven track record of delivering commercial growth, operational improvement, or business transformation through data, digital, analytics, or AI initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the insurance broking market and the end-to-end client lifecycle.
- Experience working closely with revenue-generating teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex opportunities into clear commercial outcomes and measurable business value.
- Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach.
- An influential leader who builds credibility quickly and brings people on the journey.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, balancing long-term vision with practical execution.
