About QBE

At QBE, we get to the heart of what matters for our customers. And we do it all with a human touch.

We’re an international insurer with more than 13,000 people working across 26 countries – which means we’re big enough for your ambitions, yet small enough for you to make a real impact. It’s an exciting time. We’re building momentum towards our vision to become the most consistent and innovative risk partner.

What if you could have a positive impact – at work and in the world? As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.

Having the right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role. QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion.

The opportunity

We're looking for a strategic, commercially-minded and data-driven Digital Insights Specialist to help shape the future of digital marketing performance across QBE's International business.

Joining our Digital Marketing team and wider Marketing & Communications function, you'll take ownership of our digital measurement, insight and optimisation agenda across web, email, social media, paid media and SEO.

You'll be responsible for transforming data into actionable intelligence, helping us better understand customer behaviour, improve channel performance and maximise marketing effectiveness.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence how digital decisions are made across a global organisation. You'll lead experimentation and testing programmes, champion data-driven thinking and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to unlock deeper insights and drive continuous improvement.

If you're passionate about analytics, optimisation and using data to drive meaningful business outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, you'll lead digital measurement, insight and optimisation across QBE's digital channels, establishing best practice frameworks that help improve performance, customer experience and marketing effectiveness.

Working closely with marketing, technology, data teams and external partners, you'll ensure we have the right data, insights and experimentation capabilities in place to continually learn, optimise and evolve our approach.

Main responsibilities:

  • Own performance measurement and analysis across QBE's digital marketing channels, including web, email, social media, paid media and SEO.
  • Provide clear, actionable insight that helps stakeholders understand performance, identify opportunities and make better decisions.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPI measures that provide a consistent view of digital performance.
  • Lead QBE's testing, experimentation and optimisation programme, creating a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Develop testing roadmaps and prioritise opportunities that improve customer journeys, engagement, conversion and marketing effectiveness.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for digital analytics, attribution, measurement and optimisation.
  • Partner with technology teams and external agencies to ensure accurate tracking, tagging and conversion measurement across all digital channels.
  • Analyse website performance and customer behaviour, identifying opportunities to improve digital experiences and business outcomes.
  • Support technical SEO and website optimisation initiatives, helping maximise search visibility and site performance.
  • Champion the use of AI, automation and emerging technologies to enhance reporting, analysis, experimentation and insight generation.
  • Establish consistent measurement standards, KPI definitions and data governance practices across the marketing function.
  • Own the digital insight and optimisation roadmap, identifying strategic opportunities that improve marketing performance and customer outcomes.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations that influence channel strategy, investment decisions and optimisation priorities.
  • Build strong partnerships across marketing, technology and data teams to maximise the value of digital insights across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Skills you'll need:

  • Strong experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, digital performance or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, attribution models, event tracking and conversion measurement.

  • Experience working across cross-functional teams including marketing, technology, data and external partners.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and their application within marketing and analytics.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, SQL, BrightEdge, technical SEO platforms or similar analytics and optimisation technologies would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
