Summary of Role

We have an exciting 12 Month Fixed-Term maternity cover position available with responsibility for supporting the delivery, optimisation and ongoing development of the CVS Group's digital estate during a period of parental leave.

Working within a cross-functional digital environment, the role is responsible for managing website content, implementing site enhancements, supporting content governance and ensuring a consistent, accessible, high-quality user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, author and maintain content across multiple websites using CMS platforms.
  • Support website development, enhancement and digital transformation projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement website structural updates, navigation improvements and interlinking across domains.
  • Conduct content audits and quality assurance activities, including content validation, accessibility reviews and link checking.
  • Ensure website content aligns with brand guidelines, user experience principles, accessibility requirements and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with digital, marketing, technical and operational teams to gather requirements, implement website enhancements and support project delivery.
  • Support testing, validation and launch activities associated with website updates and digital projects.
  • Support the wider digital marketing team to implement content improvement initiatives and nationwide marketing campaigns across website platforms.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and content owners to maintain accurate, up-to-date website information.
  • Manage BAU website change requests from internal stakeholders, prioritising workloads and delivering updates within agreed SLAs and project timelines.
  • Use Adobe Analytics and Contentsquare insights to monitor website performance, analyse user behaviour, identify content improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision making.

Key Skills Required

  • Understanding of how websites attract, engage and retain customers through effective user journeys and content.
  • Experience managing and optimising website content using CMS platforms such as WordPress, AEM or Yext.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop.
  • Understanding of web publishing, SEO, metadata, accessibility and content governance best practices.
  • Experience using analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare, Google Analytics) to assess performance and optimise user journeys.
  • Ability to use data and insights to improve content effectiveness, usability, engagement and conversion.
  • Strong proofreading, editing and content quality assurance skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring content is accurate and quality-checked before publication.
  • Experience conducting content audits, validation checks and website QA reviews.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with experience supporting website enhancements, migrations and digital transformation initiatives.
