Acting as the organisation's subject matter expert for learning technologies, the Digital Learning Manager will own the performance, roadmap and continuous improvement of the Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and associated learning technologies.

  • Lead through the team to maintain governance processes, standards and quality controls for digital learning content and learning technologies.
  • Lead through the team to ensure all compliance, mandatory and role-specific learning requirements are effectively deployed, monitored and reported across BBUK.
  • Lead through the team to optimise organisational reporting, dashboards and analytics relating to learning compliance, learner engagement and platform performance.

  • Support audit, assurance and regulatory requirements through robust learning governance and reporting processes.
  • Lead operational relationships with LMS providers and external learning technology suppliers.
  • Support the development of business cases, requirements gathering, procurement activity, vendor evaluation and delivery planning for future LMS/LXP solutions.
  • Stay informed of developments within the digital learning industry, identifying opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, automation, personalised learning and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues responsible for eLearning development to ensure learning content and technology platforms work seamlessly together.
  • Support projects related to digital capability, learning experience design and wider workforce development initiatives.
  • Ensure digital learning solutions meet accessibility standards and provide an inclusive learning experience for all employees.
  • Provide high-quality consultancy and support to stakeholders, managers and learners regarding learning technology and digital learning services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
