Digital Leica Specialist
Leica Store Manchester
£28,000 + annual performance bonus
5 days per week, 10am–5pm, including Saturdays
We’re looking for a Digital Leica Specialist to join our team in Manchester.
This is a sales role focused on the way our customers increasingly choose to shop, through our website, live chat, social media, email and telephone.
You’ll turn digital enquiries and conversations into sales, proactively develop opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.
Your shop floor just happens to be digital.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of sales opportunities across our digital channels, including:
- Website and live chat enquiries
- Instagram, social media and DMs
- Email and telephone sales
- Proactive customer follow-up
- Remote product advice and demonstrations
- Developing your own customer relationships and sales pipeline
- Following up new product launches and other sales opportunities
- Working alongside our store team to provide a seamless online and in-store experience
Social selling and content creation will be a key part of the role.

You’ll proactively create regular, informal content around what’s happening in the store. Things like what’s new in today, new product arrivals, back-in-stock products, quick demonstrations, product comparisons and other things our customers will find interesting.
You’ll be comfortable picking up a phone and creating a quick Story or video without everything needing to become a full production.
You’ll also engage directly with customers through social media, answering questions, starting conversations and turning genuine interest into sales opportunities.
You’ll become one of our Leica specialists, developing expert knowledge of Leica’s current M, Q and SL systems, lenses and Sport Optics. That knowledge should come through both in the advice you give customers and the content you create.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A natural salesperson and confident communicator
- Commercially minded and motivated by achieving sales targets
- Completely comfortable communicating and selling through digital and social channels
- Confident creating social content and appearing naturally on camera
- Able to spot something interesting in the store and turn it into useful content without needing to be asked
- Proactive about following up leads and opportunities
- Able to build genuine, long-term customer relationships
- Curious and enthusiastic about learning premium, technical products
- Organised and comfortable managing their own sales pipeline
