This is an exciting opportunity to join Royal London as a Digital Manager within the Chief Digital Office.

You'll play a key role in shaping and evolving some of Royal London's most important digital journeys, platforms and services, helping to deliver better outcomes for customers, advisers and colleagues.

Day to day you'll translate strategy into clear priorities, roadmaps and measurable outcomes, bringing together technology, design, data, operations and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful change.

This role offers the opportunity to own the end-to-end performance and evolution of a digital experience, balancing customer needs, business priorities and regulatory requirements. You'll lead prioritisation and delivery decisions, use insight to identify improvement opportunities and drive thought leadership into the digital assets for Royal London by bringing the outside in.

Working in a collaborative and fast-moving environment, you'll influence senior stakeholders, manage complex dependencies and help shape the future direction of Royal London's digital capabilities.

About The Role

  • Own the vision, roadmap and performance of a digital journey, platform or service area, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and customer, adviser and business outcomes.
  • Use customer feedback, journey analytics, operational insight and market developments to identify opportunities and prioritise improvements.
  • Track and measure the benefits of change, ensuring roadmap decisions are linked to clear outcomes and value delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, testing, learning and evidence-based decision making.
  • Build strong relationships across Digital, Operations, Proposition, Marketing, Risk and Compliance to ensure joined-up delivery and effective decision making.
  • Ensure delivery meets required architectural, security, governance and regulatory standards within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Communicate progress, priorities, decisions and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and constructive challenge within squads and delivery teams to support high performance and capability development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
