Jacobson Group – Digital Manager
Jacobson Group is a leading supplier of footwear in the UK and internationally. Our portfolio of brands includes Gola, Lotus, Ravel, Frank Wright, Dunlop and more.
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Manager to join the team and help maintain our leading position in the footwear industry.
Purpose
In the role of Digital Manager, you will be responsible for owning performance across all paid digital channels. This includes developing and executing full-funnel search strategies, development of creative content, optimising campaigns, and delivering clear reporting that drives profitable growth. You’ll liaise with and monitor drop ship accounts, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely manner ensuring that our data and uploads are correct.
Specific Responsibilities
- Leads and manages a small team, being fully responsible for product data, content and ecommerce day to day operations
- Allocates workload and ensures efficient resource planning
- Builds annual/quarterly paid search roadmaps for all brands and marketplaces.
- Works with the wider marketing team in line with the commercial strategy to address the requirements of each brand by demographic, market and brand persona.
- Establishes a strong presence in AI-driven search.
- Plans, executes, optimises and manages campaigns across all paid platforms, including AI search platforms and adjusts tactics, as necessary, to improve ROI
- Allocates and controls spend across digital channels (ads, tools, agencies), ensuring efficient use of budget.
- Improves sector efficiency with the adoption of appropriate automation tools.
- Builds clean, actionable dashboards; distills insights for executive and cross-functional teams relating to traffic, engagement and conversion rates.
- Reviews efficiency on an ongoing basis to ensure best practice.
- Creates assets in line with brand guidelines.
- Liaise with external agencies.
- Sets KPIs across web, social and email.
- Reports performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Reviews all websites to ensure that they are up to date, user-friendly and optimised for conversion, performance and SEO.
- Gains insights into current digital trends that could be implemented to keep the business competitive.
- Ensures privacy regulations and cookie policies are adhered to and updated.

Qualifications
- A degree, or equivalent.
- Requires 5-7 years of applicable experience with proven evidence of revenue growth, managing large-scale digital campaigns in a similar sector
- Evidence of planning and executing campaigns end-to-end, with clear results.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Google & Microsoft Ads; working knowledge of LLM AI, Klaviyo and Shopify and an understanding of structuring Meta & Google AdWords campaigns
- Competence with AI-led search tools (Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, ChatGPT) preferred.
- An understanding of SEO best practices and able to write relevant product descriptions and SEO descriptions.
- Strong communicator and team worker who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
