Digital Manager

Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Reporting To: Alex Battipaglia

Description

We're looking for a Digital Manager to lead the development and optimisation of our digital platforms, creating engaging, data-driven experiences that connect fans with the team. Working across Editorial, Marketing, Creative and Insights, you'll help deliver our digital strategy, drive fan engagement and support commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Platforms

  • Manage and develop the team website and digital platforms.
  • Work with external partners to improve functionality, performance and user experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of CMS and marketing automation platforms.

Digital Marketing & CRM

  • Deliver multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, web push, WhatsApp and other digital channels.
  • Build automated customer journeys and personalised experiences.
  • Optimise campaigns through testing, segmentation and analytics.

Content & Fan Engagement

  • Support the Editorial team with digital content publishing.
  • Manage the digital experience for the I / AM membership programme.
  • Ensure content is accurate, engaging and on-brand.

Analytics & Governance

  • Monitor website and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance, data governance and platform security.
  • Produce regular reporting to support digital strategy.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver integrated digital campaigns.
  • Support cross-functional projects that enhance fan engagement.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience managing websites, CMS platforms and digital products.
  • Hands-on CRM and marketing automation experience (e.g. Insider One or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, UX/UI and digital marketing best practice.
  • Experience delivering automated, multi-channel customer journeys.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data governance.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
  • A data-driven, proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
