About Open ECX
We automate invoicing, ordering, and reconciliation: the everyday finance work that costs the most time and money when it's done by hand. Built to flex across industries, and to work with the ERP our customers already have.
We're not trying to be everything to everyone. The transaction is what we do, and we do it properly, which means less firefighting, less scope creep, and more time solving problems that matter.
We're growing, but we've kept hold of what made us worth joining in the first place: you'll know what you're working on and why it matters, not just where it sits on someone else's roadmap.
We’re in the process of a big transformation within Marketing and the business, with a complete rebrand, new website, and new tone of voice & messaging.
If that sounds like your kind of place, we'd like to meet you.
The Role
This is a digital marketing role for someone who is comfortable switching between tasks and enjoys the variety that comes with being part of a small, ambitious team. From setting up a new campaign, updating our Google Ads, building a new website page, to working on HubSpot automations, every day will be different.
This will be a new role within Marketing at Open ECX and the fourth person to join the team. They will report to the Head of Marketing but also work with and support the Demand Generation Manager and Product Marketing Manager. You will bring your experience to help us deliver our primary goal of bringing more inbound leads as well as enabling Sales to bring in outbound leads.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
