Why Receptional and Why This Role

We're the team iGaming operators turn to when growth matters most — and we're growing fast ourselves. At Receptional, you'll find colleagues who are bright, ambitious, and genuinely supportive. Specialists who do their best work together, sharing ideas, moving fast, and holding themselves to a high bar.

Whether you're starting out or stepping up, you'll get genuine investment in your development through our internal academy, real variety in your work, and a direct impact on some of the biggest names in the industry. Competitive benefits, flexible working, and a team that has your back.

We were named Marketing Services Supplier of the Year at the EGR B2B Awards 2026, and Best Medium Agency to Work For at the Company Culture Awards 2025 — recognition for the work we do and the place we've built to do it.

Client services in iGaming moves fast and the detail is everything. Our promise to clients is simple: they hear from us before they ask, get insights they didn't request, and always have the metrics that matter.

The Account Executive is the person who helps keep that promise — supporting the Client Services team to run accounts seamlessly, build genuine relationships, and spot where Receptional can do more. It's an entry-level role with real client exposure from day one, working alongside experienced Account Managers on some of the biggest names in sports betting, casino, and online gaming. If you're a natural relationship builder who wants to learn the business of digital marketing properly, this is the right place to start.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a client-facing role where the detail is everything. You'll be supporting the Client Services team to run accounts smoothly, keep all the moving parts aligned, and build the kind of relationships that make clients feel like they have the right team in their corner. You'll be working closely with Account Managers and Senior Account Managers — learning the craft of client services while taking on real responsibility from day one.

In Practice, That Looks Like

  • Supporting the seamless running of client accounts — status reports, action logs, project plans, and Monday boards kept accurate and up to date
  • Communicating clearly with clients and internal teams so everyone is always aligned on what's being delivered
  • Managing your own projects and clients where appropriate, with oversight and support from your Account Manager
  • Flagging and escalating risks early — never sitting on them
  • Building a genuine understanding of each client's business, goals, and pain points — and making sure our reporting reflects what actually matters to them
  • Supporting the onboarding of new clients so the relationship starts the right way
  • Staying close to client context and industry developments to spot growth opportunities
  • Using AI and automation to keep client services processes efficient — freeing your time for what really matters: the relationships

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

You'll need to be a natural communicator who takes the detail seriously. Client services at this level is about building trust — with clients and with the colleagues you're working alongside — and that takes someone who follows through, stays organised, and brings genuine curiosity to every account they touch. You don't need years of experience, but you do need the right mindset: proactive, commercially aware, and motivated to learn fast.

Essential

  • A genuine passion for digital marketing and how it works across channels — SEO, Paid Media, Content, and PR
  • A confident, natural communicator — you build rapport quickly with clients and colleagues alike
  • Working knowledge of AI platforms and how they're shaping digital marketing workflows — Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail — status reports, action logs, and deadlines never slip on your watch
  • An innovative, curious mindset — you notice the things others miss and you're always asking why

Desirable

  • Some experience in a client-facing or account support role — agency-side preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com
  • An understanding of the iGaming sector — we'll get you up to speed if not
