Are you a talented digital marketer with hands-on ecommerce experience? Do you pride yourself on a job well done, your knack for problem-solving and your ability to turn insights into actions & results? If so, we want to hear from you.

At Mucky Puddle we are looking for a Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Growth Consultant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a mid-level marketer who is looking for their next challenge in a busy agency environment.

The ideal candidate will be confident in managing campaigns, analysing performance, and guiding digital strategy for a diverse range of clients.

This is a full time role, but if you require reduced or flexible hours, please do still apply: we are open to flexible arrangements for the right person.

Day to day / What you’ll do

This is a varied and hands-on role, where no two days (or clients) are the same. A typical day might entail:

  • Planning, executing and optimising digital marketing activity across multiple platforms and channels, including but not limited to: Shopify, Klaviyo, Google, Meta, and ChatGPT
  • Optimising organic visibility through keyword research, competitor analysis, site and product architecture, content writing and more, staying abreast of developments in SEO and GEO best practice
  • Identifying opportunities for onsite conversion rate optimisation, including undertaking user/customer experience (UX/CX) reviews and specifying new ecommerce features in consultation with our designers and developers
  • Contributing to internal planning and external client meetings, providing updates, insights and recommendations for planned and ad hoc marketing initiatives
  • Consulting with clients on all things Shopify, including product management, theme customisation, apps & integrations, referring to our web developers / technical team as required

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
