Role Overview

The Digital Marketing and Events Officer supports the school’s marketing, admissions, and communications by managing online channels, producing high-quality multimedia content, and delivering engaging events for various stakeholders across the customer lifecycle. Operating within GDST brand guidelines, the role highlights the school’s unique identity and student achievements while promoting the benefits of the broader GDST network.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines exceptional creative, language, and organisational skills with strong target focus and adaptability, including flexibility for out-of-hours event management. Innovators and collaborative communicators, they leverage excellent interpersonal abilities to build trust, inspire diverse audiences, and achieve results using standard office software (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong digital marketing background—ideally in education or charity.
  • Expertise in multimedia storytelling, content creation, and event delivery.
  • Proficiency in platforms like WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and DSLR/mobile production.
  • Data-driven, with expertise in SEO/AEO optimisation, analytics (GA4, social metrics), and managing paid campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.

Contract Details

This is a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2027, with the possibility to convert to a permanent role.
