Marketing Operations Apprentice
The Marketing Operations Apprentice will, with support, work with the commercial and customer success team to execute our content, social, events and client-engagement activity.
This role is remote working
Content and Social Media
- Plan, write and schedule content across LinkedIn and other social channels, applying multi-channel campaign delivery skills
- Produce marketing collateral – blog posts, case studies, thought leadership pieces, nurture emails and social copy – using AI content creation and automation techniques
- Coordinate existing customer testimonial and case study collection, including liaising with customers, arranging feedback calls, and monitoring consent and approval processes
- Research target audiences, competitor activity and sector trends to inform messaging and positioning.
Partnerships, Events and Client Engagement
- Coordinate the planning, logistics and content for webinars, exhibitions, conferences and sponsorships
- Support partnership and co-marketing activity with third parties (e.g. introducer or referral partners)
- Plan and coordinate engagement activity with new and existing customers, such as onboarding welcome packs and focus / community groups
- Support our commercial and customer success team with maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships via nurture materials to encourage platform activity and to introduce new features.
AI-assisted Marketing Operations
- Support the building, testing and iteration of AI-powered workflows for marketing use cases
- Assist with building document prompt libraries and AI-assisted processes to support consistent, scalable marketing output
- Identify opportunities where AI tooling can reduce manual effort across content production, research and client communication, applying AI and GDPR/compliance principles
Reporting and Administration
- Maintain marketing trackers, approval logs, shared drives and communication channels up to date
- Coordinate segmented nurture campaigns and outreach communications, including list management
- Monitor and report on campaign performance (e.g. traffic, engagement, email open/click rates and pipeline/ROI contribution)

Course Contents
- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
- Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
- Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
- Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

You Will Undertake the Multi-channel Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Multi-channel Marketer Apprenticeship Standard Level 3
- Functional Skills in maths and English if required
- You will receive full training and support from the Just IT apprenticeship team to increase your skills
- Delivery method and location of delivery to be confirmed
- Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 qualification
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4/C and above)
- Maths (grade 4/C and above)
