About the Role
As a Digital Marketing Apprentice at Bachy Soletanche, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping how one of the UK's leading geotechnical and foundation engineering contractors tells its story. Working alongside a friendly and experienced marketing and business development team, you'll help create engaging content, manage digital platforms, support projects and events, and learn the skills needed to build a successful career in marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Support the development and maintenance of the company website using WordPress, including uploading and updating content.
- Assist with creating and distributing email marketing campaigns and newsletters through Salesforce.
- Monitor digital channels and help identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
- Produce graphics and marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Support photography, video creation, and content gathering across projects, events, and company activities.
- Assist with internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and company events.
- Help manage marketing assets, maintain brand consistency, and contribute ideas for new campaigns and content.

About You
This role is ideal for someone looking to take the first step into a career in marketing, communications, and digital media. A genuine interest in social media, content creation, and marketing are essential, along with a creative mindset and an appreciation for good design. Strong written and verbal communication skills, good organization, and attention to detail will help support a wide range of marketing activities. Experience in using Microsoft Office, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud would be useful but not essential, while an interest in photography, video creation, or graphic design would be beneficial. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious, eager to learn, and ready to develop new skills in a supportive environment.
