Digital Marketing Assistant, Wakefield
Cars 2 is a highly successful motor retailer in West Yorkshire. We are now recruiting a Digital Marketing Assistant to assist in the creation and delivery of our online marketing strategy.
This is a great opportunity for an aspiring Digital Marketer Assistant who wants to get involved with the digital strategy of a company and is looking for experience of the full digital marketing spectrum. This role is based at Cars 2 Wakefield and reports into the Digital Marketing Specialist.

- Design digital artwork for the company website, social media, Google Display, Performance Max campaigns, website banners, and other digital marketing channels.
- Create, schedule and manage organic social media content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, ensuring activity aligns with manufacturer brand guidelines.
- Assist with the creation of marketing content including videos, blogs, news articles and website content.
- Plan, create and deliver email marketing campaigns, including designing campaign assets, building email templates, segmenting audiences, scheduling sends and reporting on campaign performance.
- Organise and manage off-site product activations and vehicle placements, including coordinating with brand ambassadors and producing promotional vehicle graphics.
- Manage and maintain Google Business Profiles, responding to customer reviews and enquiries promptly while monitoring customer feedback and reporting on trends.
- Identify and evaluate new digital marketing opportunities, helping the business stay ahead of competitors while ensuring marketing investment delivers strong value.
- Support the planning and delivery of quarterly marketing campaigns, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on website, digital marketing and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Undertake additional marketing duties and ad hoc projects as required to support the wider team.

Profile:
The Ideal candidate for this role will have some relevant education and/or work experience in digital/marketing/design. Key requirements include:
- Creative flair with strong copywriting skills and an eye for graphic design
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in marketing or design would be very advantageous but not essential
- Experienced in using Adobe Photoshop
- Can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Full driver’s licence
Remuneration and benefits:
For the role of Digital Marketing Assistant, you will receive:
- A basic salary of £24,825 dependent on experience
