Digital Marketing Assistant
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant based in United Kingdom.
This role is ideal for a versatile digital marketing professional who enjoys working across multiple channels and projects in a fast-paced remote environment. You will support a broad range of marketing activities, from content creation and social media management to email campaigns, paid advertising, analytics, and web updates. The position offers variety and requires strong organization, creativity, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently. You’ll work closely with client needs and deadlines, helping strengthen digital presence and improve audience engagement and conversions. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to marketing processes, best practices, and campaign optimization. It is well suited to a proactive professional who is comfortable learning new tools and adapting to different digital platforms.
Accountabilities
- Create and manage written and visual digital marketing content across relevant channels.
- Schedule and publish content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social networks.
- Manage online communities, monitor engagement, and support audience growth.
- Develop and support email marketing campaigns and related communications.
- Write marketing copy for social media, email, websites, advertisements, and other digital channels.
- Create basic marketing designs and visual assets as needed.
- Support podcast production, video editing, and other multimedia content initiatives.
- Assist with website development, updates, maintenance, and content management.
- Support digital advertising campaigns across Google, Meta, social media, and other paid channels.
- Assist with SEM, PPC, paid search, and affiliate marketing activities.
- Review campaign and channel performance data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Help improve engagement, click-through rates, conversions, and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Advise on digital marketing best practices and emerging tools or opportunities.
- Prepare communications and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Create and document repeatable marketing processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting client expectations and agreed deadlines.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of corporate work experience, preferably with relevant digital marketing responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong professional communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with social media management, content creation, scheduling, and performance metrics.
- Strong knowledge of major social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Practical experience with paid advertising and an understanding of how to increase engagement, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working with common digital productivity tools.
- Familiarity with current technologies such as cloud services, desktop-sharing tools, and VoIP platforms.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software and digital tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, proactive, and creative approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote or largely solo environment.
- Professionalism, discretion, reliability, and strong follow-through.
- Availability during US weekday mornings, Eastern Standard Time, to meet client needs and deadlines.
- Consistent access to high-speed internet and a reliable computer with up-to-date software.
- Ability to provide professional references when requested.
- Previous remote-work experience is preferred.
