About Tharos
Tharos Ltd is a British animal microbiome company that translates digestive and microbiome science into practical, everyday nutritional products for horses and dogs. Our specialist brands — EquiNectar (equine) and CaniNectar(canine) — are built on evidence-led research, including our patented enzyme-rich malt extract technology and our "Anabiomics" approach to gut health.
Founded in 2016 and rooted in scientific collaboration, Tharos now supports customers across Britain, Europe, and the United States, and we're growing our digital presence to match.
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Digital Marketing Assistant to join us on a volunteer basis, supporting the marketing and communications work behind our EquiNectar and CaniNectar brands. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real, portfolio-worthy marketing experience with a science-led company, with the genuine possibility of moving into a paid part-time or full-time position as the role and company grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
