Digital Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Digital Business Development Manager to join my client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to organisational expansion through innovative approaches and effective market analysis. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and experience in leveraging CRM tools to optimise sales processes.
Office based in Teesside + some travel across Europe
Up to £40,000 DOE + bonus

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to prospective clients
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support business growth
- Utilise Salesforce and other CRM software to track leads, manage pipelines, and analyse sales data
- Attend networking events, conferences, and industry functions to expand the organisation’s reach
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to meet organisational goals

Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles (3+ yrs ideally), preferably within digital marketing, technology or SaaS
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce and CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects effectively
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic plans based on insights gained
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach towards achieving targets
