Programs Coordinator

Compensation: BOE
Status: Part-time, W2
Location: Remote

Job Description

A Continuous Charity is seeking an efficient, passionate program coordinator to join our team and maximize our impact as an organization. ACC Programs Department is responsible for managing the loan application process, disbursing funds, fostering relationships, and conducting follow-ups with applicants and award recipients.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining programs, overseeing data reports and details, and measuring overall success. Their duties will consist of managing various administrative tasks, tracking the budget, and ensuring that the program meets company goals. With a commitment to growth and career development, our candidate will also strive to create positive experiences for all participants and repeat best practices for future programs. The Programs Coordinator must show commitment to ACC’s faith-based mission and values.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Monitor every step of a project or program for successful completion
  • Track and approve relevant expenses for activities and materials
  • Create promotional materials to encourage community participation
  • Identify best practices and procedures to inform future programs
  • 50% Awardee Engagement
  • 50% administrative work

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute immersive activities with Development Department
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Assist in marketing and outreach efforts
  • Generate financial reports and records for all program-related costs
  • Monitoring the success of your programs and prepare monthly status reports
  • Additional tasks as required

Job Requirements

  • Familiarity, knowledge, and experience working with the American Muslim community.
  • Solid experience in data management and analytics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excitement to learn more about non-profit fundraising.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and donor management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies or a relevant area of study
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Leadership skills and patience
  • Experience working independently and with a team are essential for this role
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector is not mandatory, but preferred
  • Must complete a criminal record check

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating activities and events
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
