THE ROLE

We are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Coordinator to work alongside our Marketing Manager, working on marketing activities for our Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury trading style Blackwater Law.

You will support the delivery of digital marketing activity for Blackwater Law, working closely with the Marketing Manager and the wider Holmes & Hills Marketing team of four.

The Day to Day:

  • Regular campaign and digital analysis/benchmarking
  • Updating the Blackwater Law website using WordPress including content updates, uploading SEO friendly articles and creating SEO optimised landing pages
  • Diagnosing and resolving website issues including functionality problems, broken links, 404 errors, and plugin conflicts
  • Managing paid digital marketing campaigns across Google, social and native channels. Optimise paid media budgets to maximise enquiries, monitor cost per enquiry to ensure ROI. Recommend budget allocation changes based on performance.
  • Managing the brands Facebook presence including creating and designing posts, reviewing engagement and reporting on this to the Marketing Manager
  • Undertaking keyword/phrase and competitor research
  • Collation, organisation and analysis of campaign data and other types of data as required
  • Make recommendations on SEO strategy including page optimisation, article generation and content review
  • Track and report on campaign results using available data insight, producing and presenting reports on campaign performance where appropriate
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager in the generation of PR campaigns, including taking the lead in sending out FOI requests, compiling data and generating press releases.
  • Acting as the main point of contact in the distribution of press releases, including liaising with journalists
  • Writing articles and proof-reading content for the website and other marketing campaigns

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Experience of Google Analytics
  • Experience of using WordPress or similar
  • Efficient and well organised, with attention to detail.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

WHAT SKILLS SHOULD I HAVE?

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work with a variety of people
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Be highly organised and able to manage priorities effectively
