Digital Marketing Coordinator
Location: Wetherby, office-based
About Us
Akula is a UK-headquartered, international outdoor furniture company, designing and supplying marine-grade furniture for some of the world’s leading hotels, resorts, cruise lines and commercial spaces.
With teams across the UK, USA, UAE and Asia, we work on projects around the world and are continuing to grow our international presence.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of digital marketing activity across Akula.
This varied role covers email marketing, HubSpot, marketing automation, digital campaigns and audience engagement, working closely with the wider Sales and Marketing team to turn agreed campaigns, creative assets and target audiences into effective digital activity.
As Akula continues to develop its digital marketing systems, you will also support campaign optimisation, customer and prospect journeys, events and wider day-to-day marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Marketing
- Build and send targeted email campaigns.
- Assist with automated nurture and re-engagement sequences.
- Coordinate campaign scheduling, testing and optimisation.

Digital Campaign Delivery
- Turn agreed campaign briefs into live digital campaigns.
- Coordinate campaign launches and follow-up activity.
- Support sector-specific and account-based campaigns.

Social & Digital Campaigns
- Support targeted organic and paid digital campaigns.
- Repurpose approved content for digital channels.
- Support retargeting and re-engagement activity.

HubSpot Marketing
- Support the ongoing development of HubSpot Marketing.
- Help build campaigns, workflows and automated customer journeys.
- Create landing pages, forms and campaign tracking.

Events Support
- Support digital campaigns around events and marketing initiatives.
- Develop post-event nurture and follow-up campaigns.

Wider Marketing Support
- Support the wider team with day-to-day marketing activity and administration.
- Assist with other marketing projects and priorities as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive and comfortable working across multiple projects.
- Confident using digital systems and technology.
- A strong communicator who works well as part of a team.
- Curious and keen to test and learn from different approaches.

Experience
Experience in digital marketing, email marketing, marketing automation or campaign coordination would be beneficial. Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing platforms would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is organised, digitally confident, proactive and keen to develop.
