About The Role

We are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Coordinator for a fixed-term maternity cover role in our East region.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, whilst working closely with the Sales and Marketing Administrator, you will provide a full and professional digital marketing support role, to maximise the online presence of Cala’s developments and the Cala brand across the East of Scotland.

Your main responsibility will be to support the Marketing Manager in the delivery of Sales and Marketing KPIs from the 5-year plan. Key duties will include maintaining and updating all digital marketing touch points such as the Cala website and property portals to ensure online content reflects the sales need and current situation of developments. Delivering digital marketing campaigns and evaluating the performance and managing database communications to ensure a 5 star customer journey is achieved.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will need to liaise with third parties and internal stakeholders, to ensure that all online marketing is up to date, accurate and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables

  • Play an active role in protecting the Cala Brand and deploying digital marketing materials that are reflective of the required standards for brand consistency nationally
  • Proof reading materials to ensure accuracy and appropriateness in line with the brand tone of voice
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with day to day management of Data Protection matters
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with delivering the Marketing Strategy and using project timelines for each site to highlight the critical path required to achieve deadlines
  • Coordinate new development set ups on Salesforce and the Cala website including plot details, house types, CGI’s, virtual tours, site plans etc
  • Produce digital assets using Papirfly for campaign and ongoing activity and brief any other digital asset requirements including but not limited to PPC, RDA, programmatics, social media, portals etc
  • Manage all database and campaigns communications throughout each stage of the development lifecycle including database email, SMS activity and portal email activity
  • Updating sales teams with digital marketing initiatives/plans/results as required
  • Work closely with portals (Rightmove, Zoopla, New Homes For Sale & On the Market) and the media agency to maintain the accuracy of the information presented, roll out best practice, optimise listings & performance
  • Managing the Cala development webpages on the Cala website to ensure accuracy at all times
  • Act as a regional website champion to push forward new ideas, overseeing any problem solving and roll out of future website deployments
  • Ensure digital marketing assets are accurate and up to date including but not limited to show home photography, Matterport virtual tours, incentives, campaign material, specification, site plans etc
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, agencies (creative, media and PR) and the Group Marketing team to test new initiatives, brainstorm new ideas and support the roll out of mar comms projects
  • Support the Marketing Manager with digital PR requirements including encouraging and maintaining positive online coverage, crisis management, content optimisation & Linked In posts
  • Ensure all digital activity is delivered on time and to budget
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create and populate monthly digital reports using Google Analytics and Salesforce and introduce digital KPI’s.
  • Carry out digital competitor analysis on a quarterly basis for all developments, ensuring that sales teams are collating relevant, up to date competitor information too.
  • Attend Group & Regional marketing meetings, to discuss current and future developments
  • Manage & maintain digital marketing files on the department share folder, Salesforce & Image Library
  • Provide support to other departments within East of Scotland i.e. management and updating the Land web pages
  • Ad hoc; visiting each site on a quarterly basis, other duties to support the Marketing Manager as required

About You

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator should act as a brand ambassador for Cala Homes and reflect the core values of Quality, Respect, Delivery and Passion in everything they do, whilst portraying a positive image of themself and Cala at all times.

They should be educated to degree level preferably in Digital Marketing / Marketing / Business Studies. Proven experience in a similar role is essential but experience in the New Homes/Re-Sale industry is not essential. It is important that the Coordinator has high level of proficiency with MS Office Products, CMS and CRM systems.

The role is sales and deadline driven, so the candidate must be commercially aware and be able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment. They will need to be flexible and able to adopt both a reactive and proactive approach, therefore organisation and prioritisation are key. Given the nature of the role creativity and excellent attention to detail are important attributes.

Excellent communication skills are required in the role to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships. We would like the Coordinator to be a self-starter who is able to learn and adapt quickly, whilst being self-motivated.

Full driving licence is required due to ad hoc travel to sites.
