Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Growth Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Growth Manager based in United Kingdom.
This is a commercially focused role for a digital marketing professional who can turn online visibility into measurable revenue growth. You’ll own strategies across SEO, AEO, GEO, paid advertising, email marketing, landing pages, and e-commerce optimisation. Your focus will be on generating qualified B2B leads, increasing online sales, and strengthening customer acquisition and retention. You’ll work across diverse customer segments and extensive product catalogues, connecting marketing activity directly to commercial outcomes. The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution, experimentation, analytics, and continuous optimisation. It’s an ideal opportunity for an analytical, results-driven professional who wants their work measured by revenue, conversions, and sustainable business growth.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute an inbound marketing strategy focused on generating qualified B2B enquiries, quote requests, bulk orders, reseller opportunities, account applications, and online sales.
- Build targeted campaigns and lead-generation funnels for different industries, customer segments, product categories, and purchasing needs.
- Partner with sales and management teams to track leads from initial enquiry through conversion, improve lead quality, and introduce lead scoring, automated follow-up, and nurturing workflows.
- Own the organic search strategy across SEO, Answer Engine Optimisation, and Generative Engine Optimisation, including keyword research, competitor analysis, technical optimisation, structured data, internal linking, content architecture, and search-intent analysis.
- Optimise product, category, service, and location-based pages to improve rankings and visibility across traditional search engines and AI-generated search results.
- Develop commercially focused content around pricing, bulk purchasing, product comparisons, specifications, delivery information, and frequently asked questions.
- Create and optimise high-converting landing pages for retail, wholesale, reseller, corporate, and government audiences.
- Improve calls to action, forms, account applications, checkout journeys, and other conversion points through testing and behavioural analysis.
- Manage and optimise the e-commerce platform, including product information, descriptions, specifications, imagery, category structures, pricing, stock information, promotions, and customer journeys.
- Develop strategies to increase average order value, purchase frequency, and repeat revenue through bundles, volume offers, cross-selling, upselling, promotions, and abandoned-cart recovery.
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, remarketing, display, and relevant Meta or LinkedIn channels.
- Manage advertising budgets and continuously improve cost per qualified lead, customer acquisition cost, and return on advertising spend.
- Build segmented email marketing and automated lifecycle campaigns covering new enquiries, quote follow-ups, abandoned carts, account applications, repeat-order reminders, customer reactivation, product launches, and promotions.
- Analyse campaign, CRM, website, and sales data to identify which marketing activities generate customers and revenue rather than relying on vanity metrics.
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly performance dashboards covering leads, quote requests, e-commerce sales, conversion rates, organic performance, advertising efficiency, average order value, repeat purchasing, and marketing-attributed revenue.
- Identify priority products, customer segments, and growth opportunities in collaboration with sales and management teams.
- Continuously test, measure, and refine marketing initiatives to improve commercial performance and establish clear attribution between digital activity and revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
