Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Salary: £30K per annum
Contract: Full-Time & Permanent
Location: Glasgow/Hybrid. You'll split your time between working from home and our Glasgow office at The Social Hub, just a few minutes walk from Queen Street and Central Station.

The Role

XL Event Lab is on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing in-house digital marketing team. This role will provide marketing support across our global portfolio of event brands with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various marketing channels. If you have a passion for delivering tangible business results and enjoy seeing the immediate impact of your work, you will thrive in this exciting role.

The Company

XL Event Lab designs and executes experiences for an expanding base of customers and oversees a portfolio of established events both in the UK and internationally. Selling both to entertainment buyers and directly to the ticket-buying public, XL Event Lab typically produces over 500 events in an average year.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media

  • Support with the setup and optimisation of digital advertising campaigns, primarily on Meta
  • Assist in the production of ad creative, using design tools such as Canva/Photoshop, and working with external designers
  • Support the team with performance reporting and dashboard updates

Ticketing

  • Help set up ticket pages on our internal platforms and coordinate with our ticketing partners to meet go-live deadlines
  • Liaise with venues to provide appropriate marketing assets and take advantage of marketing opportunities
  • Ensure that appropriate tracking is set up on all ticket pages
  • Keep our various event websites up to date, editing content in our CMS platforms and coordinating with our website partners

CRM

  • Assist with the set up of basic automation flows on our CRM platform (Klaviyo)
  • Help send out and collate post-event NPS surveys
  • Create and schedule marketing emails and SMS

Administrative Support & Organisation

  • Provide general administrative assistance

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Basic understanding of Meta Ads Manager
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
