About Cedarwood Digital

Cedarwood Digital is an award-winning digital marketing and PR agency based in Manchester. We specialise in SEO, Digital PR and Paid Media, delivering measurable results in a straightforward and transparent way.

We work with a varied range of clients, from SMEs to large international organisations. We pride ourselves on producing high-quality work, developing long-term client relationships and creating a supportive environment in which our team can learn and progress.

About the role

We are looking for an entry-level Digital Marketing Executive to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

The role will sit within our SEO team but will involve a broad mixture of SEO, content, website and social media activity. You will support our client campaigns while also helping to develop Cedarwood’s own website, content and social media presence.

This role would particularly suit a recent graduate with strong written English and excellent communication skills who is looking to begin a career in digital marketing.

Previous SEO or agency experience is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, takes pride in their work and is confident communicating with colleagues, clients and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the SEO team with the day-to-day delivery of client campaigns.
  • Conducting keyword, competitor and industry research, alongside technical SEO and data analysis, to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
  • Helping to review and optimise website content, including page titles, headings, meta descriptions, internal links and on-page copy.
  • Creating clear and detailed content briefs for clients, writers and external suppliers.
  • Writing and editing website pages, blog articles, case studies, social media posts and other marketing content.
  • Proofreading content to ensure it is accurate, engaging and consistent with the relevant brand’s tone of voice.
  • Uploading, formatting and updating content on client and Cedarwood websites.
  • Helping to keep the Cedarwood website accurate, current and reflective of our latest work, services, awards and company news.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of Cedarwood’s social media activity.
  • Creating social media content around company news, client results, case studies, events, awards and industry developments.
  • Using Canva and other design tools to create branded graphics and social media assets.
  • Scheduling and publishing posts across Cedarwood’s social media channels.
  • Repurposing blogs, case studies and other website content for use across social media.
  • Liaising professionally with clients to gather information, provide updates and support the delivery of agreed work.
  • Gathering and organising data for client reports and internal marketing reviews.
  • Monitoring SEO, website and social media performance.
  • Identifying relevant trends, opportunities and ideas that could support client campaigns or Cedarwood’s own marketing.
  • Supporting the wider team with general digital marketing, research and administrative tasks.
  • Participating in internal training and sharing useful industry updates with the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
