The Role

Location: Hybrid/our Leeds office

Type: Full Time

Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team. Reporting to our Senior Media Manager, and joining a team of 7, this role is responsible for activating digital marketing channels, e.g. across YouTube, Spotify and Meta across all PureGym markets including the UK, US, Denmark and Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the media manager in all aspects of the digital channel strategy, maximizing awareness, consideration and new joiners within stated budgets.
  • Manage aspects of campaign set up and optimisation across a range of platforms, including Meta, Snapchat, YouTube, Google, Pinterest, Spotify and TikTok with support from our specialist team.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform activity, including creative selection and how we should split investment across platforms and campaigns to drive the best results.
  • Contribute to long term project plans, as well as engaging in various forms of iterative testing.
  • Liaise with our in-house studio and brand team to plan and create best-in-class creative, rotating these as required across campaigns. This includes ongoing management of a large bank of creative formats and digital ad assets.
  • Supporting across a wider range of channels where needed, e.g. radio and out-of-home
  • Innovate and experiment with new creative assets and strategies
  • Continually seek to test and learn, evolving and optimising activity to drive the best possible results.
  • Assist on meetings with suppliers such as Meta, TikTok etc. to ensure PureGym activity is following latest industry best practice
  • Keep up-to-date with wider social media and display trends and developments, bringing fresh ideas and thinking to the business

The Person

  • Is passionate about digital marketing, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Balances a creative mindset with a commercial perspective; adept at crafting messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Is proactive and capable of working collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Takes ownership for performance and ensures that all targets are met
  • Has the ability to manage numerous projects whilst remaining calm

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience of managing paid social campaigns
  • Demonstrable passion for social media and up to date with latest trends, particularly on creative
  • Experience managing sizable monthly budgets (at least £10,000 per month)
  • Has strong analytical skills, comfortable with data analysis and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
