Digital Marketing Executive | £35k+ | Newcastle

Are you a Digital Marketing Executive with hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns?

Have you worked within eCommerce and enjoy using performance data to drive online sales?

If so, this could be worth a look.

We're working with a growing B2C eCommerce business looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their close-knit in-house marketing team.

This is a broad digital marketing position, but performance marketing will be a major focus. You'll take ownership of campaigns across Google Ads and paid social, alongside supporting SEO, email marketing, website management and content across multiple consumer brands.

The Role:

You'll work closely with an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist and the wider marketing team, with a clear focus on increasing website traffic, improving conversion rates and driving online revenue.

  • Create, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, continually improving performance and ROI
  • Manage paid social campaigns across the company's consumer brands
  • Support SEO activity including keyword research, on-page optimisation and content
  • Manage and update eCommerce websites, including products, promotions, landing pages and blogs
  • Analyse website and campaign performance to identify opportunities to increase traffic, conversions and sales
  • Plan and deliver email marketing campaigns supporting acquisition and retention
  • Produce regular performance reports across traffic, campaigns and online revenue
  • Work with the wider marketing team on commercially focused campaigns across multiple brands

About You:

We're looking for someone with around 2+ years of digital marketing or eCommerce experience who enjoys the commercial and performance side of marketing.

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong hands-on Google Ads experience
  • Experience managing PPC and paid social campaigns
  • Previous experience within an eCommerce environment
  • Experience with GA4, Google Search Console and Google Merchant Centre
  • Knowledge of Shopify, WordPress or similar eCommerce/CMS platforms
  • An understanding of SEO and how organic activity supports wider digital performance
  • A commercially focused approach, with an interest in conversions, ROI and online sales

You'll be joining a close-knit in-house marketing team where you can take genuine ownership of digital activity across multiple growing consumer brands.

Alongside a ~£35k+ salary, the business offers hybrid working following probation, company events, pension and free on-site parking.
