About us

Every refrigerated truck and trailer moving goods across the country has relied on diesel for decades. It's polluting, expensive, and the technology has not changed. Two companies have dominated the market, selling the same legacy technology with minor updates.

Sunswap makes the electric refrigeration that's replacing it — zero emissions, lower operating costs, built from the ground up for how fleets actually operate. Endurance runs frozen goods for 24 hours on a single charge and chilled goods for up to two months. Those numbers matter on the road, and getting them right took years of obsessive engineering from a team drawn from automotive, aerospace, and motorsport.

We have gone from founding to manufacturing at scale globally in just six years. We built our own production facility in Surrey. Today we are 200 times larger by square footage than when we started. We operate on three continents — units run across the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Chile, and Australia. And we are trusted by major brands like Tesco, Ocado, Birds Eye, and Happy Eggs every single day.

We have been named Sunday Times Best Place to Work in 2024, 2025 and 2026. We have won awards for innovation, technology, and marketing excellence, including Transport Refrigeration Manufacturer of the year in both 2024 and 2026. We have backing from leading investors including BGF, Barclays, Clean Growth Fund, Shell, and Rabobank.

We have got the customers, the traction, and the momentum. Now we are taking this British-engineered product global — scaling manufacturing, opening new markets, and building the team that will make legacy polluting technology obsolete across the world.

If you want to be part of a company that is setting new standards for the industry and scaling internationally, this is it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Job overview

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will own Sunswap's digital infrastructure and organic growth as we scale from six markets towards twenty.

The priority is the organic funnel: search, website conversion, email, webinars, and video, in every market we sell in directly. This is a technical role. You will run the website end to end, put our digital presence into new languages as we open markets, own the marketing data that sales relies on, and build the automations that let a small team operate across many markets. Campaign and content strategy comes from the wider marketing team; you make it live, measurable, and repeatable.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the Sunswap website end to end
  • Build organic search into our primary awareness and lead channel, owning technical SEO and AEO.
  • Deliver the technical side of localisation: new language versions of the website, email programmes, and campaign assets as Sunswap enters new markets.
  • Implement campaigns from the Campaign and Content Manager across organic channels, email, and the website in all direct sales markets.
  • Run the webinar programme to build awareness and leads in markets ahead of in-country sales presence.
  • Publish a consistent flow of video across company and individual channels, in each market language, managing production through freelancers and AI tools.
  • Own commercial data: enrichment, list building, segmentation, and delivery of qualified data to sales, with particular focus on new direct entry markets where CRM coverage is thin.
  • Build and maintain automation workflows that remove repetitive work and surface insight across the commercial team.
  • Package campaigns for distributors and partners: campaign-in-a-box toolkits, launch kits, and co-marketing assets that let partners run Sunswap campaigns in their own markets.
  • Report on organic funnel performance and MQL flow, and use that data to decide what gets built next.

Qualifications & experience

  • 5+ years in digital marketing with strong hands-on technical skills, ideally in a B2B or scaling business.
  • Proven ownership of a company website: CMS administration, page building, basic HTML and CSS, tag management, and analytics (GA4 or similar).
  • A track record of growing organic traffic and converting it into leads, with SEO results you can point to.
  • Experience running email marketing and automation through a CRM or marketing automation platform (HubSpot or similar).
  • Confident with data: list building, enrichment tools, segmentation, and keeping a CRM clean enough for sales to trust.
  • Comfortable using AI tools as a core part of how you work.
  • Able to run multiple projects across markets without close supervision.

Advantageous

  • Experience localising websites or digital campaigns across multiple markets and languages.
  • Experience marketing to fleet, logistics, cold chain, or another technical B2B audience.
  • Paid media experience on Google Ads and LinkedIn. Paid is not the focus of this role, but selective paid support will come up.
  • Webinar platform and programme experience.
  • Video editing skills, or experience managing video production through freelancers.
  • A second European language.
