Join our team as Digital Marketing Executive!
Chester Race Company is seeking a creative and commercially focused individual to join the Marketing Team as a Digital Marketing Executive on a 12 month Contract.
Working closely with the Racing Marketing Manager, you’ll lead digital activity across Chester and Bangor-on-Dee, supporting event sales, customer engagement and wider marketing objectives.
General Responsibilities include:
- Support the development and delivery of annual digital marketing plans
- Own digital channels and assets, including email, web, social, mobile and e-ticketing
- Plan and deliver digital campaigns to support event sales
- Manage SEO, PPC, paid social and digital advertising activity
- Monitor performance, produce reports and demonstrate ROI
- Grow the customer database and provide customer and market insight
- Support digital brand management and identify new technologies and opportunities

Essential criteria:
- Minimum 2 years’ commercial digital marketing experience, in-house or agency
- Experience with email marketing platforms, websites and CMS
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, display and social media marketing
- Experience delivering effective, multi-channel digital campaigns
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
Desirable criteria:
- Experience in events, hospitality, leisure or sport
- Experience with CRM, e-ticketing or database marketing
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and digital reporting tools

What we offer:
CRC offer a great selection of benefits, from Race Day tickets to enhanced pension contributions.
- Salary: £28,000 per annum
- Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months
Hours of work:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- CRC is an event company; you will be required to work some weekends and evenings. Any work beyond the contracted hours will be eligible for time off in lieu.
- CRC has a flexible approach to working hours, which should be agreed with your line manager.
