We’re partnering with an established construction business that’s looking for a creative and proactive Digital Marketing Executive to join its team.

This is a varied opportunity for someone in the early stages of their marketing career who wants to build broader experience across content, social media, email and digital campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll have the support to develop while still being encouraged to contribute your own ideas.

The Role

You’ll help deliver marketing activity that builds brand awareness, engages customers and supports business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating content for social media, blogs, case studies, emails and sales materials.
  • Managing the social media calendar, including planning, scheduling and monitoring content.
  • Updating the website and producing SEO-friendly content.
  • Supporting email campaigns, exhibitions and customer events.
  • Tracking campaign performance and identifying opportunities to improve results.

About You

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

  • At least one year’s experience in a hands-on marketing role.
  • Strong copywriting skills and experience creating content for different digital channels.
  • Practical experience with social media, email marketing and website content management.
  • Confidence using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, alongside Google Analytics or similar reporting platforms.
  • A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to attend occasional events and customer visits.
  • Experience within construction, housebuilding or another technical sector would be beneficial, but isn’t essential. You should, however, be comfortable learning about technical products and turning detailed information into accessible marketing content.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Why Apply?

The business is strengthening its marketing activity, creating an opportunity for someone to take on a genuinely broad role rather than being limited to one channel. You’ll gain hands-on experience across content, digital campaigns, events, lead generation and performance reporting, giving you a strong foundation for the next stage of your marketing career.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Marketing Manager, but you won’t simply be there to carry out instructions. Your ideas will be welcomed, your work will be visible across the business and you’ll have the opportunity to understand how marketing supports sales and wider commercial growth.

The business operates within a changing area of construction, supporting the housebuilding sector as it moves towards more energy-efficient homes. It offers an interesting environment for someone who wants to develop their marketing skills while learning about a commercially important and evolving industry.
