Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on skills, experience and proven results

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive with proven hands-on experience in SEO, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, supported by measurable results.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will work across our brands to generate quality leads and improve marketing performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and implement SEO improvements, including keyword research, technical audits, on-page optimisation and internal linking.
  • Build, manage and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, including budgets, bidding, search terms and negative keywords.
  • Set up, test and troubleshoot tags, triggers and conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and GA4.
  • Analyse performance, identify wasted spend and improve cost per lead, conversion rates and lead quality.
  • Write, edit and optimise website content, landing pages and advertising copy.
  • Use AI tools efficiently, checking facts and editing outputs before use.

Essential skills and experience

  • Proven SEO and PPC experience, with clear examples of your contribution and results.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Google Search Console.
  • Practical experience with technical SEO, WordPress and tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog.
  • Strong writing, editing and analytical skills.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and take responsibility for the result of your work.

What we offer

  • £30,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on skills, experience and proven results.
  • 20 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • One day per week working from home after successfully completing probation.
  • The opportunity to progress to Digital Marketing Manager based on performance.

The role is based at our office in Team Valley, Gateshead.
