About the Role
We are looking for a curious, analytical, and driven Digital Marketing Executive to join our B2B marketing team in Birmingham. In this role, you will play a key part in driving brand awareness, engagement, and qualified inbound leads through our digital channels to grow our employer network and apprenticeship enrollment.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to launch their career or someone with 1 to 2 years of experience in a digital marketing role who wants to develop into a future marketing leader.
Please Note: This role will be fully based On-site in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update website content using our CMS (e.g., Umbraco). Build and optimize campaign landing pages and ensure all digital content is user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with SEO best practices.
- Design, schedule, and deliver targeted email marketing campaigns and automated workflows. Segment B2B audiences and test subject lines, content, and calls to action to drive open and click-through rates.
- Support our CRM database (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). Track and manage inbound leads, ensuring they are accurately captured, qualified, and routed to the Business Development team.
- Utilize Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and digital platform data to monitor website traffic, conversion trends, and campaign ROI. Produce regular performance reports and turn data into actionable recommendations to optimize campaign performance.
- Support MetaGedu’s social media channels by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging B2B content while tracking audience engagement and emerging platform trends.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align lead-generation strategies, maintain brand messaging consistency, and experiment with new marketing tools and AI capabilities.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, OR 1–2 years of experience in a digital marketing role.
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms, CRM systems, and email marketing automation tools.
- Exposure to Google Analytics (GA4) with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of lead generation, audience segmentation, B2B social media, and the digital customer journey.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, organized, and commercially minded with a desire to learn, experiment, and understand how marketing directly drives business growth.
- A genuine interest in the education, skills, and apprenticeship sector.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Umbraco, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or experience with landing page builders.
- Familiarity with reporting dashboards or basic paid digital advertising.
