IAM RoadSmart is the UK’s leading road safety charity, dedicated to improving driving and riding standards and making roads safer for everyone. Through advanced driver training, driver rehabilitation programmes, and commercial fleet services, we work with individuals, businesses, and public sector organisations across the UK.

About the Role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive (12 Month FTC) to join our marketing team and play an important role in delivering engaging, insight-led digital campaigns that support our commercial and charitable objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally focused marketer who enjoys working across paid media, social, websites, analytics and campaign optimisation. You’ll have the opportunity to make a measurable difference, using digital marketing to generate leads, grow engagement and strengthen the IAM RoadSmart brand among key audiences.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver and optimise paid digital campaigns across paid social and Google Ads, using data and insight to drive leads, engagement and revenue.
  • Manage and improve our website, including CMS updates, landing pages and user journeys, identifying opportunities to improve content, performance and conversion.
  • Measure and report on digital performance, using Google Analytics and other tools to track campaigns, website engagement and KPIs, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support our social media and email marketing activity, including community management, campaign builds and delivering engaging content to our audiences.
  • Support SEO and wider digital marketing activity, including keyword research, content optimisation and testing new approaches to improve our online visibility.
  • Work collaboratively across IAM RoadSmart, supporting integrated campaigns, outreach and acquisition activity, including attendance at IAM RoadSmart and third-party events

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on experience of paid social, with an understanding of targeting, creative, campaign setup and optimisation.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of paid search, ideally including Google Ads, with a focus on driving relevant traffic and conversions.
  • A performance-focused mindset, with the ability to monitor campaigns, identify opportunities and optimise activity to improve results.
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools, including Google Analytics (GA4), to measure performance and turn data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with building and optimising landing pages and updating website content, with experience using Umbraco being a bonus.
  • A proactive and curious approach to digital marketing, with a willingness to test, learn and find new ways to improve performance.
