Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Importantly, experience within a B2B or professional services environment is highly desirable. You’ll need to understand how to market to professional audiences, communicate often complex subject matter clearly and create content that supports both brand and business development objectives.

You’ll ideally bring experience of:

  • Working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO tools and email marketing platforms.
  • Creating and editing digital content, including video, graphics and imagery.
  • Using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva or similar.
  • Writing accurate, engaging and concise copy for a range of digital channels.
  • Analysing digital performance and using data to identify opportunities for improvement.

You’ll be organised, commercially aware and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Just as importantly, you’ll be proactive, curious and keen to keep learning as digital platforms and trends evolve.
