Temporary position: 12–18 months

Who are we?

At Henderson Group, we are proud to be one of Northern Ireland’s leading family-owned businesses. With more than 6,000 colleagues, our group encompasses Henderson Wholesale, Henderson Retail, Henderson Foodservice and Henderson Group Property.

Henderson Wholesale is one of Northern Ireland’s leading wholesalers, supplying an extensive range of fresh, ambient and chilled products to retailers across the region. We are proud to work closely with local farmers, growers and producers, supporting the local economy while delivering quality, value and dependable service to our customers.

We achieved Gold accreditation against the Investors in People standard framework in 2023 in recognition of people management excellence and our commitment to investment in people.

A look into the role…

Help shape how some of Northern Ireland’s best-known retail brands connect with customers every day. As Digital Marketing Executive, you will bring campaigns to life across social media, websites and digital channels, helping SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO and ViVOXTRA strengthen engagement and deliver value for stores and local communities. This is a temporary opportunity for 12–18 months within the Henderson Wholesale Marketing team. (Should a permanent role arise within our developing team during that time, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be considered).

Reporting to the Digital Team Leader, you will support the development and delivery of digital marketing activity across Henderson Group retail brands, helping to bring brand campaigns to life across social media and digital channels.

Working collaboratively with the marketing team, sales colleagues and agency partners, you will play a key role in planning, activating, monitoring and reporting on digital campaigns that support brand objectives, optimise engagement and deliver value for our network of stores.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
