Job Description
We are open to candidates based around Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham or Leamington Spa areas. Regular travel to our Nottingham, Sheffield, Newcastle and Leamington locations at least once per month as and when required.
In this hands on role, the Digital Marketing Executive will support the Commercial Marketing Manager in increasing Sumo’s studios’ brand awareness and engagement.
Job Requirements
- Experience coordinating social media platforms and creating and maintaining an active schedule of meaningful campaigns.
- Experience with developing and running paid campaigns would be advantageous.
- Creativity, innovation and an ability to work at pace.
- Good understanding of LinkedIn and other social media channels.
- Good communication skills, spoken and written with the ability to create engaging copy when required.
- A team player.
- Understanding of compliance such as data protection (GDPR) and privacy regulations that impact their role.
- Experience in B2B Marketing would be advantageous.
- A passion for video games.

Job Responsibilities
- Supporting the Commercial Marketing Manager to plan and execute a variety of marketing campaigns.
- Scheduling and posting on LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Being Sumo’s LinkedIn champion - helping employees and leadership team understand how to best utilise the channel.
- Regularly generating reports to identify opportunities.
- Developing and running paid campaigns (PPC and LinkedIn ads).
- Maintaining and updating Sumo’s studios’ websites
- Supporting with other Marketing needs, including event and partner coordination.
