Digital Marketing Executive - Hampshire

Are you a proactive, creative, and well-rounded digital marketer ready to take ownership of client projects and make a meaningful contribution within a growing agency?

Do you have 1-2 years experience of working in a digital, marketing, or advertising agency delivering a mix of different tasks such as CRM/Email marketing campaigns, SEO, PPC, or carrying out website content changes and uploading blogs on WordPress sites?

Do you enjoy writing blogs, producing copy for social media, email campaigns, and other marketing campaigns? With good writing ability?

If so, we want to hear from you today.

We’re supporting a friendly, creative agency based in beautiful surroundings in the Hampshire countryside, who are looking for a junior-mid-level experienced Digital Marketing Executive to help them deliver high-quality campaigns, content, and creative ideas across a varied portfolio of clients.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the full marketing mix rather than specialising in a single discipline. You’ll combine strong copywriting and digital marketing skills with excellent organisation, confident client communication, and the ability to manage projects from brief through to delivery.

The role

Working closely with the Director & Marketing Manager, you’ll take day-to-day responsibility for a small portfolio of client accounts while contributing to projects across the wider agency.

You’ll plan and deliver marketing activity, manage timelines and client communication, create engaging content, and use performance insights to improve results. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, think ahead, and identify opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a small portfolio of client accounts with the support of a client services account manager.
  • Planning and delivering ongoing marketing campaigns and projects from start to finish.
  • Acting as a confident day-to-day contact for clients communicating via email, call, video meeting, and in-person if required.
  • Attending client meetings and events and representing the agency professionally.
  • Managing project timelines, task lists, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Identifying engaging stories and turning them into effective marketing content.
  • Writing and editing blogs, case studies, website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, and customer communications.
  • Building and managing email campaigns (Hubspot or similar CRM), including segmentation, automation, A/B testing, subject-line testing, and deliverability monitoring.
  • Planning, creating, and scheduling social media content.
  • Updating websites, blog posts, and landing pages using WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Supporting SEO activity, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, meta descriptions, internal linking, and content improvements.
  • Reviewing campaign and website performance using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Preparing clear reports, recommendations, and campaign updates.
  • Carrying out competitor, audience, and market research.
  • Contributing ideas and identifying opportunities to strengthen client marketing activity.
  • Supporting the agency’s own marketing and the wider team when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
