Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Digital Marketing Executive role based in Lincoln. As a company, we have experienced considerable growth in recent years, and we are now looking to refine and optimize the function of our marketing department. To support this exciting transition, we are looking for an enthusiastic and organized marketing professional to fill a pivotal role in the digital marketing team. The main responsibility of the successful candidate will be management of the company’s email marketing, with general support for the digital marketing team when required.
Requirements of the Role
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in email, digital and ecommerce marketing
- Preferable hands-on experience with Klaviyo or similar, including campaigns, automated flows, segmentation, and reporting
- Experience working with Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, with the ability to create engaging subject lines, email content, and calls to action
- Good understanding of customer segmentation, personalisation, and lifecycle marketing
- Confident using campaign data to improve open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue
- Experience with A/B testing, email optimization, and automated customer journeys
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around pricing, promotional offers, and campaign creation and scheduling
- Good understanding of GDPR, PECR, email consent, and deliverability best practice
- Commercially minded, organized, and proactive, with the ability to work with the wider marketing team and contribute new ideas

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, build, schedule, and deliver email marketing campaigns in line with the promotional calendar and wider marketing strategy
- Manage and optimize Klaviyo campaigns, automated flows, customer segments, and mailing lists
- Create engaging email copy, subject lines, preview text, and calls to action that support sales and customer retention
- Work closely with the analytics and design teams to ensure campaigns are accurate, visually effective, and aligned with the brand
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue, and unsubscribe rates
- Carry out A/B testing across subject lines, content, offers, send times, and customer segments to improve campaign performance
- Develop and maintain customer lifecycle journeys, including welcome, abandoned basket, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, and re-engagement flows
- Ensure all email activity follows GDPR, PECR, consent, and email deliverability best practice
- Maintain high levels of accuracy when checking pricing, promotional offers, discount codes, links, product information, and campaign scheduling
- Support product launches, seasonal promotions, and wider ecommerce campaigns while identifying new opportunities to increase customer engagement, repeat purchases, and email-generated revenue

- Customer-focused, with a good understanding of what motivates and engages ecommerce audiences
- Curious and willing to learn, keeping up to date with email marketing, ecommerce, and digital marketing best practice
