Paid Marketing Executive
£35,000–£38,000 | Full-time | Office-based
A fast-growing business is bringing its paid marketing activity in-house and is looking for a suitably experienced Paid Media Executive in a newly created role to take ownership of this side of digital marketing.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows paid media technically, enjoys working with data, and wants real ownership of campaigns, tracking, and performance. The business operates across 4 different revenue streams, bringing a varied mix of audiences, products, and customer journeys to work with.
Working alongside an established marketing team with dedicated content, photography, videography, and organic social resources, giving you the support and creative input to build and test campaigns effectively.
The role:
- Manage and optimise Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign development, testing, audiences, budgets, and performance.
- Own conversion tracking and measurement, including GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, and Meta Conversions API.
- Manage Google Merchant Centre, Shopping, and Performance Max, alongside Meta catalogue advertising.
- Analyse campaign performance across leads, sales, conversion, ROI, and cost efficiency, using the data to drive improvements.
- Work with the CRM specialist to understand lead quality and conversion through to sale.
- Lead the transition of paid activity from agency to in-house, taking ownership of existing accounts and campaigns.
- Work with the wider marketing team on creative, content, landing pages, and conversion activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
