The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join a well-established UK-based B2B business operating within the industrial and engineering sector, with a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise, and customer service.

This is a varied and hands-on role within a busy marketing team, with a particular focus on social media content, SEO, and managing website content through WordPress. You'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of digital marketing activity, supporting campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, and new business opportunities.

The role covers a lot of different areas of marketing, so we're not expecting the finished article. We're looking for someone with a good foundation in digital marketing who is enthusiastic, commercially-minded, and keen to learn. If you're someone who picks things up quickly, enjoys getting stuck into new challenges, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a supportive Marketing Manager.

You'll work closely with sales, operations, and senior stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to see how marketing activity directly contributes to wider business objectives.

Salary up to £32k

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

Ideally you will have around 2 years' experience within a digital marketing or marketing executive role, with a good understanding of how different digital channels work together.

We're particularly interested in candidates with strong experience across social media, SEO, and website content management, ideally including hands-on experience with WordPress.

You'll be a creative and proactive marketer who enjoys producing content but is equally comfortable looking at data, understanding performance, and making improvements based on what you find.

Experience in a B2B, industrial, engineering, or technical environment would be advantageous, but isn't essential. What's important is that you're commercially-minded, enthusiastic, and keen to make a measurable contribution.

If this sounds like your next challenge, please apply via the link or contact James Robinson for further details.
