About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Leather Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production processes adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and deadlines. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in leather processing, and the ability to coordinate effectively with different departments. Qualifications
- A minimum of a diploma or degree in Leather Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in leather manufacturing or a similar production environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of leather processing techniques, machinery, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and manufacturing software is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of leather products.
- Monitor and enforce quality control procedures to meet company and industry standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to streamline operations.
- Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management review.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate material flow to optimize production schedules.
