About eSterling

eSterling is an established digital marketing agency based in Birmingham’s creative quarter. We work with businesses across a wide range of industries, delivering SEO, websites, digital marketing and lead-generation strategies that produce measurable business results.

As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded SEO & Digital Marketing Executive to join our digital marketing team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced SEO professional to take ownership of client work, develop their technical and strategic capability, and contribute to how we use AI and automation to improve client outcomes and internal efficiency.

The role

You will manage and support a portfolio of SEO clients, helping to improve organic visibility, website traffic, lead generation, and commercial performance.

Working alongside our design, development, and digital marketing teams, you will develop and implement SEO strategies, provide technical recommendations, communicate performance clearly, and build strong client relationships.

The role includes practical use of AI and automation tools to improve research, analysis, campaign delivery, and internal processes. You will apply sound judgement and quality control to all AI-assisted work.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies aligned with client objectives, KPIs, and commercial goals.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and provide clear, prioritised, and actionable recommendations.
  • Undertake keyword research, competitor analysis, market research, search-intent analysis, and SERP analysis.
  • Monitor and improve organic rankings, visibility, traffic, conversions, lead generation, and other agreed performance measures.
  • Produce regular client reports and explain campaign performance clearly in relation to agreed KPIs.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a key day-to-day point of contact.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and content teams to ensure SEO best practice is implemented.
  • Support website launches, migrations, technical improvements, and CMS changes.
  • Identify opportunities for client growth, including relevant additional SEO, content, website, or wider digital marketing services.
  • Use AI tools to support research, content planning, SERP analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Develop and refine prompts and processes that improve productivity while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Stay up to date with search engine updates, AI-assisted search, generative results, industry developments, and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute ideas that improve eSterling’s SEO processes, client offering, and internal delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
