For a company like L'Oréal, digital innovation and consumer engagement are at the core of everything we do. Connecting our 40 global brands with consumers online is a challenge that takes a lot of creativity and analytical agility. As a Digital Intern, you’ll be placed into one of these exciting brands and are expected to get stuck in, thinking of innovative ways to elevate our digital presence for a UK audience.
We have multiple Digital/Digital Marketing Industrial Placement roles across our brands and teams. This could include roles focused on social media, e-commerce, website management, or even technical digital roles focusing on SEO. Be open-minded and trust that we’ll find the perfect role for you!
Day-to-day, You May Be
- Optimising Websites: Assisting in updating brand sites, e-retailer catalogues, and managing product launches online.
- Managing Campaigns: Coordinating social media campaigns, email marketing newsletters, and digital assets with media agencies.
- Analysing Data: Tracking website traffic, social media engagement, and competitor digital activities to relay actionable insights.
- Driving SEO: Conducting keyword research and implementing best practices to maximise our search engine visibility.
- Managing Stakeholders: Collaborating with brand, sales, and external agency partners on cross-functional digital projects.

To Succeed In This Role, You’ll Need
- A data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
- A balance of creativity and numerical skills to analyse digital KPIs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders
- The ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks under pressure
- An eye for website design, usability, and online consumer journeys
- Proactivity and a keen interest in digital trends and social media platforms
- The ability to work autonomously and take initiative
You are... In your second year at university on a course that includes an Industrial Placement Year (if you have already graduated, please check out our graduate roles instead!).
