About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the organization’s mission by coordinating advocacy campaigns, managing stakeholder communications, and assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong commitment to social impact, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external partners. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to global development efforts while gaining valuable experience in nonprofit operations, advocacy, and project management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit management, advocacy, or related roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated passion for social justice, global development, and policy advocacy.
  • Experience in event planning, stakeholder engagement, or grassroots campaigning is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support advocacy campaigns aimed at influencing U.S. foreign policy related to global poverty alleviation.
  • Assist in developing advocacy materials, including policy briefs, presentations, and digital content.
  • Manage communication channels with stakeholders, partners, and volunteers to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.
  • Organize and facilitate outreach events, webinars, and community engagement activities.
  • Monitor and report on policy developments, legislative updates, and relevant global issues.
  • Support the organization’s social media strategy by creating content and managing online presence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and organizational goals are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts, and campaign progress for reporting and evaluation purposes.
